Herringbone Lace Possum Merino Shawl

USD$223
... ›

A long rectangular shawl with herringbone lace through its length and ribbed ends. It measures approximately 200 cm × 70 cm (79 in × 27.5 in), long enough to wrap around the neck as a scarf or wide enough to drape across the shoulders.

Lightweight and knitted in New Zealand from 55% merino wool, 35% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. McDonald designed it for travel and for wearing several ways.

Wear it wrapped as a scarf over a jumper, draped across the shoulders over a shirt, or thrown over one shoulder with jeans.

The same herringbone lace is on the Herringbone Lace Possum Merino Vest.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
