Where do you ship from?

We ship possum merino knitwear worldwide from Aotearoa New Zealand, fully tracked via NZ Post. Choose your country under Shipping Rates on this page to see your rate, delivery time and any import charges.

When should I order for Christmas delivery?

Choose your country under Shipping Rates on this page to see its recommended order-by date. These are recommended dates, not guarantees. You can still order after them: your order ships as usual, it just may arrive after Christmas.

How long does it take to process my order?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number by email. Our knitwear is made in small batches by New Zealand makers, so if anything in your order is temporarily unavailable, we'll be in touch within one business day with your options. Your card won't be charged until we've confirmed availability or you've told us how you'd like to proceed.

Do you offer tracked shipping?

Yes. All orders are fully tracked via NZ Post. New Zealand orders ship via CourierPost with signature required. International orders are tracked end-to-end, with final delivery by your local postal service: AusPost in Australia, Canada Post in Canada, USPS in the United States, Royal Mail in the United Kingdom, and equivalent services elsewhere. Metro areas are usually faster than regional or remote addresses.

Do I need to declare possum merino knitwear when travelling?

Generally, no. Possum merino jumpers, scarves, gloves and beanies are finished knitted garments, and the declaration lists from New Zealand and Australian border agencies don't name finished knitwear. The animal items those lists do name are raw or unprocessed, such as raw wool, skins, feathers and bones. Normal customs allowances still apply to gifts and purchases, so check the duty-free limit for the country you're entering.

Do possum fur trims and pom poms need to be declared?

Usually not, but the fur trim is the one part worth mentioning if you're unsure. Fur trims and pom poms are finished fur sewn onto a knitted garment. Australia's declaration still covers "any other animal products", so if in doubt, tick yes and show the officer. Declaring an item costs nothing, while failing to declare risk goods can mean a fine, such as New Zealand's instant $400 penalty.

What happens if my package is refused or returned?

If a package is refused or returned because of unpaid customs duties, failed delivery attempts or an incorrect address, return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund.

What happens if my order is lost or damaged?

If your order arrives damaged or doesn't arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us within 14 days. We'll work with NZ Post to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Are shipping prices shown in my local currency?

Shipping is priced in NZD, except EU shipping, which is priced in euros. Your shipping cost at checkout will be displayed in your selected currency.
