Kiwi Possum Merino Beanie

USD$67
... ›

A double-layer beanie with a row of kiwi birds knitted in a contrast colour around the turned-back brim. It measures approximately 51 cm around and 22 cm from brim to crown (20 in × 8.5 in).

Knitted in New Zealand from 50% merino lambswool, 40% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. The kiwi is New Zealand's national bird, and the beanie is a popular gift for visitors and locals. Pair it with a plain scarf in the kiwi colour to pick up the motif without doubling the pattern.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
