Sheep Possum Merino Scarf

... ›

A double-layer scarf with a row of sheep knitted above a fringe at each end, reversible to a contrast underside. It measures approximately 19 cm × 152 cm (7.5 in × 60 in).

Knitted in New Zealand from 50% merino lambswool, 40% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. The sheep motif draws on New Zealand's farming history, and the scarf is a popular gift. Wear it open over a plain jumper so the sheep show, or turn it for the plainer underside.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
