A round-neck women's cardigan built on a circular yoke, a rounded panel that runs around the shoulders, with blocks of garter stitch, a ridged stitch, across the body. The sleeves are wide and slightly flared. A contrast colour edges the neckline, cuffs and hem, and is picked up again in the cord that ties at the neck.

Knitted in New Zealand from 55% merino wool, 35% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. The garter stitch gives the fabric a gentle ridged texture and some body, so the cardigan keeps its relaxed shape.

It finishes at the hip and sits neatly over high-waisted jeans. Buttoned through with the tie done in a small bow, it reads as a top on its own. Left open, it layers over a fine rib top.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
