Cable Possum Merino Headband

CAD$53
... ›

A wide headband in cable knit, gathered at the back where the cables cross. It covers the ears and leaves the top of the head free. It measures approximately 12 cm wide with a 47 cm circumference unstretched (5 in × 18.5 in).

Knitted in New Zealand from 50% merino lambswool, 40% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. Wear it with hair loose or tied back, and with a scarf in the same cable. The cable reads well against a plain knit, so let it be the one textured piece with a smooth jumper or coat.

For the matching set, see the Cable Possum Merino Scarf and Cable Possum Merino Glovelets.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
