Two Way Possum Merino Poncho

CAD$216
... ›

A moss stitch poncho with two ways to sit: the hem straight across the front, or turned so it falls to a point.

Knitted in New Zealand from 50% merino lambswool, 40% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. One size. The knit is light and drapey, enough for a cool summer night over a T-shirt and easy to layer over a jumper in winter.

Straight across, it suits a long-sleeve top and slim trousers. Diagonally, it's more relaxed with jeans and a beanie, and a belt at the waist pulls it into shape.

For a heavier moss stitch with buttons, see the Moss Stitch Multiway Possum Merino Wrap. For the same stitch, see the Moss Stitch Possum Merino Shrug.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Chest width is across the front, underarm to underarm. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
