Classic Fringed Possum Merino Scarf

CAD$134
... ›

A plain scarf in tubular knit, worked as one continuous tube so it lies flat as two layers of fabric, with a fringe at each end. Knitted in New Zealand from 55% merino wool, 35% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk, the double layer gives a plain scarf real warmth, and it is smooth on both sides.

At 150cm x 17cm (59" x 6.5"), it wraps once with the fringed ends left hanging, or knots loosely at the front. The plain knit suits patterned jumpers and textured coats, where a cable or check scarf would compete.

It matches the Plain Tubular Possum Merino Hat, knitted in the same tubular construction.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
