A men's crew neck sweater in one colour, with panels of different stitches across the body that McDonald based on traditional New Zealand motifs.

It is knitted in New Zealand from 55% merino wool, 35% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. Because the pattern is all texture, it shows up close rather than from across a room.

Keep the rest plain: a T-shirt underneath and dark jeans, or a plain jacket over the top.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Chest width is across the front, underarm to underarm. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
