Possum Merino Cap with Peak

£46
... ›

A close-fitting knit cap with a turned-up brim like a beanie and a short peak at the front. Knitted in New Zealand from 55% merino wool, 35% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk, it holds warmth close to the head.

It measures approximately 16cm (6.5") from brim to crown and 21cm (8.5") across, laid flat. It sits best with casual layers, a puffer or a quarter-zip with jeans; for something sharper over a wool coat, the cheesecutter is the better choice.

For a fuller crown and a softer peak, see the Soft Peak Possum Merino Hat.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
