A plain beanie with no fixed hem, so the edge folds up once or twice to suit your head size and how you like it to sit. It measures approximately 44 cm around and 24 cm from edge to crown (17 in × 9.5 in).

Lightweight and knitted in New Zealand from 50% merino lambswool, 40% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. Wear it with the edge turned up over a coat collar and scarf, or fold it deeper for a closer fit over the ears. The plain knit keeps it low-key, so it works with a patterned scarf or a bright jacket without competing.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
