Koru Knitwear have been making possum merino in Warkworth for over 40 years — a family business knitting three ranges from the same workroom.
The signature Koru blend is 50% fine merino wool, 40% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. It holds warmth without weight and stays soft against the skin, and a small group of pieces are finished with possum fur trim.
This collection covers the Koru mainline and Brushtail by Koru, a lighter plated knit for year-round wear — use the brand filter to narrow to one or the other. Their third range, Trilogy by Koru, is spun from reprocessed Koru offcuts and sits in its own collection.
