A two-tone plating technique gives the knit its depth and texture. At 75% fine merino wool, 20% possum fur and 5% mulberry silk it sits lighter than the Koru blend — layering weight through winter, and enough on its own for a cool morning.

Circular DesignTrilogy by Koru
Offcuts from the Koru blend are collected, sorted and reprocessed into a new yarn: 65% fine merino wool, 25% possum fur and 10% silk — a sustainable approach Koru calls circular design. Bold colour, simple shapes, and fibre kept in use.
Koru Knitwear is crafted in Warkworth, north of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, in a family-owned workroom that has been working natural fibre for more than 40 years. Every garment is cut, assembled and checked by hand before it leaves the room.
The signature blend is 50% fine merino wool, 40% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk, with colours drawn from the Pacific and from the greens and browns of native forest. Two further ranges come out of the same workroom — Brushtail by Koru, a lighter plated knit for year-round wear, and Trilogy by Koru, spun from offcuts of the Koru blend.
