McDonald
Possum merino knitwear, from jerseys and jackets to hats, socks and throws.
Light, Warm, Packs FlatThe Travel Edit
The travel throw folds into its own centre pocket and becomes a cushion — a headrest on a plane, lumbar support in a car, a blanket when you land. The rest of the edit follows the same logic: warm without bulk, and ready to wear straight out of a case.
The McDonald SignatureFair Isle and Ombré
Graduated colour and traditional Fair Isle patterning, across knitwear and blankets.
Trimmed and FinishedLeather and Lambskin
Lambskin collars, leather zip trims and a leather-peaked cap — structure at the collar and cuff where a knit would usually go soft.
Structured ShapesHats and Caps
Cheesecutters, peaked caps, soft peaks and tubular hats. Structured shapes with a brim or a peak.
Pure Superfine MerinoRoyal Merino
From the same makers as McDonald, Royal Merino is 100% superfine merino at 19.5 micron with no possum in the blend. Lighter on the body and easy to wear across seasons, in bold colour built to lead an outfit rather than sit under one. A small alpaca capsule sits alongside.
The McDonald Range
McDonald is owned by a fourth-generation farming family with 150 years of wool-growing heritage in Marlborough. The knitwear is crafted in their Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland workroom.
