Wave Possum Merino Scarf

... ›

A loop scarf, also known as a snood or infinity scarf, knitted in a basketweave-style wave texture. With no loose ends to blow about or come undone, it stays put in the wind better than a long scarf. It measures 25cm (10") wide and 150cm (59") around, or 75cm (30") laid flat.

Knitted in New Zealand from 65% fine merino wool, 25% possum fur and 10% mulberry silk. The natural-fibre blend has a very soft handfeel and provides lightweight warmth for the neck.

Wear it single over a coat or knit, or twist it and double it around the neck on colder days. It comes in the same colours as the Rib Possum Merino Hand Warmers, so the two can be worn as a set.

Exact measurements of this garment, laid flat. Allow ±2cm as each piece is knitted.

Hand wash in cold water. Never rub, twist, or wring — gentle squeezing only. Lay flat to dry in shade, away from direct heat. Store folded in a cool, dry place.

New possum merino may shed lightly during the first few wears. This is completely normal and stops quickly. A gentle hand wash helps release any loose surface fibres.
