Wavy V Neck Alpaca Cardigan
Sculptural wavy stitching flows across this button-front cardigan, knitted in New Zealand from 100% baby alpaca. The textured pattern creates visual interest without being over the top — a cardigan that works hard but doesn't try too hard.
Baby alpaca fibre sits at 22.5 micron with a silky hand-feel quite different from wool. The semi-hollow fibres trap warmth efficiently while staying noticeably lighter, and because alpaca is naturally lanolin-free, it's suitable for most people with wool sensitivities. The yarn is grown and spun in Peru, then crafted here in New Zealand. Button closure lets you adjust your coverage throughout the day.
Wear it to work over a simple blouse, throw it on for weekend markets, or layer it for evening dinners when you want texture without fuss. The button front works equally well fastened up as a standalone piece or open over dresses and tees.
